What does it mean to be a Temple?

Paul's message to the Corinthians reveals that our bodies belong to God, not ourselves. As believers, we are temples of the Holy Spirit, purchased by Christ's sacrifice and called to sexual purity. Sexual sin is uniquely destructive because it affects our bodies, which are meant for the Lord. When facing sexual temptation, we must flee rather than fight, seeking community support for accountability. True Christian freedom doesn't mean license to sin, but freedom from being dominated by anything that compromises our witness. Our bodies should glorify God and reflect the gospel to the world.
