Adult Discipleship Classes
Looking to dive deeper into Scripture and get better connected at MPC? We offer a number of Adult Discipleship Classes on Sunday Mornings starting at 10:10AM. You can attend or join any one of these classes at anytime. Below is the description/rooms for each class. You do not have to register for a class, but it does help us to know you're coming to better prepare.
The classes below are for our upcoming Fall Session from November 2 - December 21 From 10:10-11:00AM.
Going Deeper In To The Sermon
In Person class: Preschool Orange Room
Instructors: Ryan Pietryga & Betsy Rumor
Did something spark your curiosity during the service or maybe you just want to learn more about something that stood out to you during the message?
This class is the perfect place to bring that curiosity and all of your questions! It is designed for those who long to go deeper in their understanding of the Bible by utilizing and unpacking more of the sermon of the week.
The first four weeks of the fall session will be on Prayer and the remaining 4 weeks will be on Advent.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 – 18 tells us: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. When things are going well that can be easy, but do we remember to be grateful for the blessings we receive. How about when things are not going well? Should we still be expected to be grateful and how do we do that? This class will use Robert Strand’s book “The Power of Thanksgiving” to look at releasing the power of thanksgiving as scripture tells us to do.
