Looking to dive deeper into Scripture and get better connected at MPC? We offer a number of Adult Discipleship Classes on Sunday Mornings starting at 10:10AM. You can attend or join any one of these classes at anytime. Below is the description/rooms for each class. You do not have to register for a class, but it does help us to know you're coming to better prepare.

Christian Civics: Faith for a Fractured Democracy

We’re living in a time when our country feels incredibly polarized and fractured. Politics can divide families, friendships, churches and honestly, it can be really difficult to know what it looks like to follow Jesus faithfully in the middle of all of that. And THAT’S really what this class is about. We’ll ask some important questions:
How do we think, speak, and act differently from people who disagree with us about almost everything, but share our faith in Jesus?
How do we do the same with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, who agree with us about Jesus but disagree about just about everything else?
Because as Christians, our political identity shouldn’t be what ultimately defines us.
Jesus does.

A Study of Ephesians

Join us as we begin a new study on the book of Ephesians. The Book of Ephesians is a letter from the Apostle Paul that explains what God has accomplished through Jesus Christ and what it means to live as part of Christ’s church. Paul emphasizes that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith, that believers from all backgrounds are united as one people in Christ, and that the church is called to display God’s wisdom and love to the world. He encourages Christians to live in a way that reflects their new identity...walking in humility, love, purity, forgiveness and unity, and to use their gifts to strengthen one another. The letter concludes by urging believers to stand firm against spiritual opposition by putting on the “armor of God,” trusting in God’s strength and remaining faithful in prayer.
