You do not have to register for a class, but it does help us to know you're coming to better prepare.

The classes below are for our upcoming Spring Session from May 3 - June 28 From 10:10-11:00AM.
Before You Ask Forgiveness: Guidance for Christians Seeking Reconciliation
In Person class: Preschool Orange Room
Instructors: Rus Howard
Rus Howard will be leading a discussion of the book he is writing on this theme. We will discuss why forgiveness, even among Christians, so often fails to lead to genuine reconciliation. At the end of the class you will 1) Have a biblical understanding of what to do before asking for forgiveness. 2) Know how to clear challenges faced in moving from brokenness in a relationship to genuine reconciliation.
Rus is a retired Teaching Elder in the EPC, having pastored 2 churches in Pittsburgh. He has worked extensively in loss and grief hospice ministry, rescue mission ministry, and as a professional fundraiser for non-profits. He and his wife Rori live in Gibsonia, worship at MPC, and have lived in Pittsburgh over 23 years.
Bring your Bibles, an open heart, and a willingness to share. Class members will receive draft copies of chapters of Rus Howard’s book on this topic.
