ESME TEEL

Esmé Teel and her husband, Barry, join the MPC family from Centre, Alabama. Esmé is a "second career" 2021 graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry in Pastoral Ministry. This is Esmé's first call upon completion of seminary. She has served as a Pastoral Resident at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church in Tennessee where her responsibilities there, along with her career path prior to seminary, provided the experience necessary to support her work in pastoral care and pastoral counseling here at Memorial Park. As our new Pastor of Congregational Care, Esmé will also act as a contact point for our care and digital ministries, alongside growing our online community and online experience. Esmé is a compassionate, thoughtful, and grace-filled person and pastor who is truly spirit-filled in nature. Her strong faith and love of the Bible will bring a wonderful perspective to our pastoral staff.
