The ReIEngage Marriage Ministry Staff will be taking a sabbatical for the 2024 season. Stay tuned for other event or class offerings to be announced at a later date.
Re|Engage is a 16-week marriage enrichment program that examines God's design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether you are struggling to get along, your marriage is broken, or you simply want to grow closer together as a couple. This program generally begins in January.
There are two components to Re|Engage: large group and small group participation. Each evening begins in a large group setting, during which time you'll hear couples publicly share their marriage story, and class leaders teaching principles for marriage growth. This typically lasts anywhere from 30-45 minutes.
During the second portion of the class, couples move into small groups. Small group consists of 4-5 participating couples who will walk through the 16-lesson Re|Engage curriculum together. Closed Groups are formed when there are enough couples ready to join a Closed Group, and a facilitator couple is available. This group generally meets from 75-90 minutes.
Memorial Park's Marriage Ministry also organizes couples events to help couples reconnect, reignite, and resurrect their marriage. Re|Engage is offered as part of Memorial Park's Adult Class selections.
Leading up to the start of the class, we will host one preview night. Before starting Re|Engage, you are required to attend the preview night. Preview Night is a chance to learn about Re|Engage, the curriculum, the program, and the expectations, as well a time to ask questions. These nights are essential to understanding the format of the program and what it offers.
In addition to the Re|Engage Class, Marriage Minstry also hosts occasional Date Night events for married couples to get to know each other and enjoy time bonding as spouses.
